Brief history

Since 1926, God’s presence has been an integral piece in the growth of our movement in Burbank. From humble beginnings on the corner of 5th and Cypress, we continue to grow as our focus stays centered on Connecting people to God.

At the pinnacle of all we do, everything that we are a part of always has the heart to: Love God, Love People, Connect people to God.

We seek to demonstrate and declare the good news of Jesus powerfully and creatively to every person in our city, resulting in transformed lives, empowered laborers, and multiplied leaders.

We value God’s presence and power, being part of a warm community, developing people, experiencing joy, engaging in persistent prayer, vibrant worship and wholehearted service.

What to expect on Sunday

Worship - We engage in a time of singing praise and showing reverence before we hear from God’s word. In total our service lasts about an hour.

Coffee - We brew fresh coffee every Sunday, so come early and grab a cup

Kids - Children ages 1st to 5th grade are urged to be a part of the excitement we have going on every Sunday as our Media City Kids are taught God’s word and feel connected and loved. We also have our nursery available for those children ages birth to kindergarten.

Jr. High - Sundays at 11:30a, students from 5th-8th grade meet in the balcony to join in for worship with a class to follow.

Youth - Sundays at 6:30pm in Taylor Hall our teenagers (grades 6-12) encounter God, His love and grow together in the process. Check out our Facebook page here and follow us on twitter and Instagram: @mediacityyouth
